Reception is located in the Stanley Hotel, it is the large red building in the centre of town – you can’t miss it.
As Stanley can be busy we suggest making a reservation for dinner. We recommend the Stanley Hotel Bistro and reservations can be made by calling 1800 222 397.
Have you allowed yourself enough time while in Stanley? We recommend the following activities;
Walk or take the Chairlift up The Nut, a walk around the top will take about 45 minutes, at the Nut Rock Café, located next door to the Chairlift, enjoy a famous Scallop Pie, a true Tasmanian delicacy
Hire an E-bike and discover Stanley’s historic streets, scenic bike tracks, Highfield and the Green Hills by bike. They can organise a picnic to take with you if you like. Visit historic Highfield House, take time to appreciate the architecture and beautiful gardens at the site of the first European settlement in all of the North West and learn of the history of the VDL Company
