Originating in early settlement days, the Stanley Village is rich with history. The old stone building and a series of warehouses once contributed to the bustling wharf. Whilst, the warehouses have since been removed the original stone building remains. The railway station was relocated to Stanley from Wiltshire to save it from being demolished in the late 1980’s. Today the Stanley Village is a boutique waterfront complex with a mix of stylish self catering apartments and comfortable, spacious suites.
